SkillUp is a growth program designed for CEOs of Croatian SMEs ready to scale, innovate and grow beyond local markets.
Through expert-led sessions, sector-specific masterclasses, practical case studies and tailored consultations, the program helps participants turn business challenges into concrete next steps.
The main format is a 5-week hybrid bootcamp, mostly online, with one immersive offsite retreat. A shorter offsite-only format, Mini SkillUp, is also available.
The 5-week hybrid bootcamp is the flagship SkillUp experience.
It combines online sessions, sector-specific content, 1-1 consultations and one in-person offsite retreat.

SkillUp is open to CEOs of Croatian SMEs.
In some cases, managing directors may also be eligible.
To apply, companies should meet the following criteria:
Number of staff headcount:
10 to 250 staff members
Operations:
More than 3 years of operations
Financials:
Annual turnover below EUR 50 million or annual balance sheet total below EUR 10 million
Minimum annual turnover of EUR 500,000

Staff headcount includes full-time staff, part-time staff, temporary staff and seasonal staff. Apprentices, vocational training students and employees on maternity or parental leave are not included.
The calculation may differ when one or more other enterprises hold a share in the company’s capital or voting rights. We recommend checking the SME definition guide and using the eligibility tool before applying.
By participating, the company will receive de minimis support, equivalent to up to EUR 25,000 for the 5-week bootcamp and EUR 5,000 for Mini SkillUp.
